Trump signed executive orders referring to the enhancement of the skills for the border management and executive mission

According to recent press releases from the White house, on January 25th, President Donald J. Trump signed two executive orders that will have a direct and immediate impact on the DHS’s operations and the executive mission.

The first Executive Order, enhancement of public safety in the interior of the United States, sets forth the enforcement priorities that will guide DHS to keep moving forward on the reinstatement of secure communities and focusing on other significant changes of the federal immigration policy. President trump has ordered that all necessary actions be taken for ICE to hire 10.000 immigration officers.

The second Executive Order, Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements, focused on border infrastructure and detention and asylum procedures, as well as the hiring of 5.000 additional border patrol agents as well as other important issues.
