WBO Board of Directors confirms Edmundo Erik Moncayo as International President of WBO

The Board of Directors of the World BASC Organization has officially confirmed Edmundo Erik Moncayo as the International President of the WBO. Since April 2022, Mr. Moncayo had been acting International President of the WBO following the official retirement of Fermin Cuza who had led the WBO for the past 12 years, in addition to performing the duties of Executive Director of the WBO. This resolution was ratified at the meeting of the WBO Board of Directors held in Miami, Florida on December 6-7, 2022.

WBO wishes Mr. Moncayo success in his new position, and to Mr. Cuza thanks for his years of committed service and for facilitating a seamless leadership transition over these past eight months and wishes him well on his retirement.

About Edmundo Erik Moncayo, WBO International President

Mr. Moncayo has dedicated a great part his professional career in service to the federal government of the United States, where he worked for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in different positions with responsibility over border security, intelligence and analysis, international relations, employee training and development, and organizational design and management, among others. Mr. Moncayo holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration (summa cum laude) from Columbia Southern University. Until December 2022, he held the position of Executive Director of the World BASC Organization.
