Mr. Fermín Cuza Appointed as Honorary Member of WBO

The World BASC Organization's Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Fermín Cuza as an Honorary Member. In accordance with the Organization's governing statutes, Mr. Cuza has been granted this distinguished status in recognition of his retirement, following a remarkable career spanning over 50 years in international trade, customs, and border security.

 

The WBO is grateful for Mr. Cuza's invaluable contributions to the establishment of BASC 25 years ago, as well as his steadfast support in his capacity as International President until now.

 

This esteemed appointment sees Mr. Fermín Cuza joining the ranks of other exceptional Honorary Members, including Ms. Mayra Hernández de Cavelier, former International President of the WBO, and Mr. Carlos Ochoa, Head of Commercial Relations and Communications with the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Each of these individuals has made significant contributions to fostering secure international trade through their accomplishments and dedication to supply chain security.

 

The World BASC Organization commends Mr. Cuza's exemplary leadership, vision, innovation, and passion, which he has consistently brought to our organization throughout his illustrious career.
